Single mother to three grown-ass women who are making their way in the world, trying to find my way to a happy ending. I write book reviews, predominantly reading mm romances and currently receive ARCs from gay romance reviews, booksirens, indie author creator, directly from some authors as well as making the most of kindle unlimited. My book reviews can be found at skm reads’n’reviews and I am always happy to receive recommendations. My tastes runs from mpreg to vampires, alpha/beta/omega dynamics to littles, daddies to bikers – and quite possibly a lot more! I have run afoul of the unexplainable Amazon curse whereby I can no longer leave reviews there – and they had the audacity to delete the hundreds of reviews I’d already published!
I have had two original stories published, but haven’t written anything original in a very long time. Maybe with the return of my muse, I will check out some open calls. My fanfic can be found at spikecentric and I write in various fandoms but predominantly Teen Wolf and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I have four cats who own my whole heart – they keep me company when I cannot sleep, comfort me when I’m in pain, love me when I feel unlovable. I suffer from anxiety and depression, and have been diagnosed with diabetes type II so I am doing my best to make this new decade the beginning of taking care of myself. With that in mind, I have a weight loss blog which chronicles my experiences trying to lose weight using Ozempic. I am scheduled for weight loss surgery at the end of November ‘24 and will try to document my journey to (hopefully) a healthier me.
Since 2023, I have been using medicinal cannabis to help with my pain and mental health issues and I blog about this at skm and thc which is on blogspot.
I dabble in making fanart and most of my efforts can be seen as banners on my stories, headers and icons on my various blogs and also quite a few of my tattoos. I can't draw for shit, but am having a whale of a time playing on AI art using NC Cafe, Bing AI Creator and magicstudio!
